Mysore Road is getting widened to a 4 lane thingie....So public has to live with it getting narrowed down till work gets complete!! In many places, its like two equally big vehicles jostling for the same piece of road. Whats new? Just that they are coming in opposite directions at greater than 80 kmph!!

Have also heard recently that Bangalore is trying to get pre fabricated fly overs, to save on traffic inconvenience.....
Hence proved that Government can learn things as well - (ref the Airport Road Fly over)
